More work I did last summer, while sailing from Baltimore, MD to Jacksonville, FL. This is a series of four one-of-a-kind necklaces inspired by the magical treasures that can be found where the ocean meets the sand. This series is called Mermaid’s Bangles, and is made of wonderfully fuzzy and seaweed-like crocheted yarn, large agate circles strung on silk thread, and crocheted sterling silver wire dotted with -depending on the piece- amber, fluorite, peridot, citrine, amethyst, blue topaz beads.
