After a month or three of delays, we finally left on our sail south today. We made it through the famous Columbus Day Regatta in one piece (thanks to really fortunate timing we didn’t have to play slalom through the oncoming race boat traffic), and managed to avoid the Columbus Day crowd at Elliott Key. We are now blissfully anchored south of Card Sound Bridge at Key Largo.
