Met this bird at the Marsh Walk.  Don’t know its name.  Do know it’s cute.

UPDATE: I now know its name! Birdchick tells me it’s a juvenile nigh-heron.

UPDATE 2: Uhm. Yet more evidence that any ornithology found on this blog is purely accidental. @Pave_Low has informed me:  […] should be “Night heron” (although the typo of “nearly/almost heron” can still work as it’s an immature bird :p )

Of course, none of this takes away from its cuteness.
