I’d long given up on any squash-related vegetables *ever* growing in our garden (too hot, too humid, too buggy). But we just came home to find one of our many previous squash failures has climbed its way out of the compost pile, sprawled across the garden and yielded one beautiful butternut squash. A.ma.zing.
