Ready to defend himself against the overzealous photographer.
Producing a fogged up beach scene.
As washed up on Huntington Beach.
Looking soooooo inviting.
A surprise gift from uncle Fred. The 4-year-old did NOT want to go to school this morning.
Looking rather distressed from frequent use, merciless sun exposure, and the weight of his Advanced Storm Protection System. Poor guy.
We see these on our morning beach walks. I like watching them pace the shoreline, busily stabbing the sand until it yields breakfast.
As drawn by the Atlantic Ocean at Huntington Beach State Park.
Unidentified at least by botanically illiterate moi. These single leaf plantoids can be found in the local sand dunes, looking very busy receiving earth-invasion instructions from their home planet. They’re so cute!
