Looking out of place on that wall.
Looking for Wile E. Coyote.
Deciding if I’m worth the trouble. A Barred Owl, I think – at Miami Science Museum.
Hanging out by the Waccamaw River.
On a cloudy morning.
At least it looks like he is. I’m sure he’s using some sort of magic trick.
Wondering whether I’m going to feed or shoot him.
Odd as it may look (at least to me), even ibis like to sit on a wire every once in a while.
Five this time. Whiter than the clouds. Pigeons or doves?
Met this bird at the Marsh Walk. Don’t know its name. Do know it’s cute.
UPDATE: I now know its name! Birdchick tells me it’s a juvenile nigh-heron.
UPDATE 2: Uhm. Yet more evidence that any ornithology found on this blog is purely accidental. @Pave_Low has informed me: [...] should be “Night heron” (although the typo of “nearly/almost heron” can still work as it’s an immature bird :p )
Of course, none of this takes away from its cuteness.
