Low tide effected more creature seeking this morning. The 4-year-old had no reservations about holding this one -which was immediately dubbed the eyeball- in his hand. Expert creature-finder John told us it’s a Shark Eye snail. It was safely returned to the ocean, of course.
More beach time today. It was too breezy to go swimming, but the 4-year-old managed to stay busy by plowing the shoreline.
If you want to find sea creatures, low tide is the time to go for a walk on the beach. And if low tide happens to be right around sunset, I’m in. We found jellyfish, hermit crabs, and this starfish. It got returned to the ocean right after the photo op.
